What am I up to?
Well, it is a return to life without TV and Internet. The TV went kaput towards the end of last month which in turn inspired me not to pay the Internet bill. And honestly I miss neither(not even the Indian Paisa....err....Premier League).
Loads and loads of books....from Ogden Nash to Stephen King, from Upamanyu Chatterjee to Issac Asimov.
Loads and loads of movies....from Bicycle Thieves to Amores Perros, from Citizen Kane to Road to Guantanamo.
And I have a sneaking feeling that this books-n-movies duathlon will continue for atleast one more week.
Footnote: Managed to get my hands on Batman#534, a part of the 'Batman:Legacy' arc. After all it is not in every issue that you get to see the dark vigilante teaming up with Lady Shiva to prevent Ra's al Ghul goons in Calcutta.

Thought I was the one among the rarest of species to not be an avid 'IPL fan'. Good to have you back, anyways... Have been thinking of getting 'Citizane Kane' for a long time now...

Well now, that's a feat of sorts. I can do perfectly well w/o the TV, but I'm too much of a net addict to forego its existence. Man, you're as bad a bookworm as me ! But I have to concede, I can't watch too many movies at a stretch ...but I'm glad you're having fun !

Out of sight, out of mind....not exactly, eh! Yeah, been watching some movies lately...won't be posting any reviews though. That is best left to pros like you :)

Glad to have like-minded people around. As for movies, well, I can watch good movies till my eyes are red and swollen and my mind is full of unforgettable dialogues and I can watch some more. It is real fun.
